Um dos pontos mais interessantes deste projeto é a proposta de customização do personagem, feita pelo próprio criador, que convida cada um dos proprietários a criar seu Socket Boy exclusivo, através da  escolha do tipo de lâmpada que ele vestirá.

One of the most interesting aspects of his project is the fact that
one can customize the toy created by Chaus. As there is the
possibility to customize it one can have/create  his own Socket Boy by
choosing the kind of bulb it will have.

É uma obra aberta e em constante - possível - renovação. Vejam o que Chaus diz a esse respeito:

It creates open possibilities to have different toys thru constant

The idea is this, what if you can buy a toy wich you want to custom, but you you want to make him look so much more different than any other in the world? well, pick a lightbulb on any light store, on the supermarket, maybe and old lamp with a rare bulb? one with color? a soft tone? a light saver bulb? a big one? a large one? Is up to you... you get bored of youre old one? pick another head it cost, a few dollars at much! :D enjoy Socket Boy® soon, sitting and standing...

Curti demais o projeto , todo o processo de modelagem e detalhamento que Chaus desenvolve para chegar ao personagem definitivo.
Aproveitem para conhecer mais da produção deste artista autodidata que, além do Socket Boy, tem vários outros personagens tão bacanas quanto esse - apesar da preferência deste Blog pelo SB, por motivos claramente óbvios..RS.

I've enjoyed his project, his modeling process and especially the
development of the details Chaus uses to give life to his final
product. While visiting ‘Sobre(a)mesa’ get to know more of his designs
for besides Socket Boy he has created many other different cool stuff.
Needless to say this Blog has a preference for Socket Boy… for obvious
reasons… of course!LOL
